Mark Thomas Ryan
March 26, 1951 - February 12, 2014
Obituary
MADISON-Mark Thomas Ryan, age 62, of Madison passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at his home. He was born on March 26, 1951, in Madison, the son of Delbert and Ireta (Padley) Ryan of Lodi. From a young age, Mark was always interested in cars. He could name the year, make, and model of any car. This lead to his lifelong career in car sales. Mark was very well-known and knew so many people from his roots in Lodi through his youth and life in Madison. He could always fill in the blanks and remember the details for friends and family. Mark always remembered his friends in good times and bad with a call or a card. His kindness and friendship will always be remembered.
Mark will be greatly missed by his sister, Marcia (Joe) DiPiazza of Waukesha; brother, Nick (Cathy) Ryan of Schaumburg, Ill.; sister, Barb Ryan of Madison; and nieces, Lisa, Angie, Gina, and Jessica of Waukesha, and their families. Mark was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Mass will be held at ST. THOMAS AQUINAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 602 Everglade Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 17, 2014. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. A private family burial will be held. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

Our condolences to Mark's family and friends. Mark has been long time friend and fellow car enthusiast. I have many wonderful memories of him as a car salesman and the cars he purchased and sold.

I am so sorry to hear of Mark's passing. He was a member of our social networking group and we often saw him out and about, especially when the Eddie Butts Band was in town! I will remember him as a very kind and friendly man, and one who was always willing to lend a helping hand if he could. We will miss you, Mark.

Mark was such a great guy! He always had so many stories, you would think sometimes that the stories might be a little made up....but I don't think they were! Mark just had lived such an interesting life. I know Mark will be missed by so many. I am so grateful I was able to be one of his many friends.
