I'm just in shock that you are gone. I loved our getting together every March and September for our birthday breakfasts. I will miss those, but I will miss you most. I'm sorry I cannot be there for your funeral but I am heading to NC for a cousin's funeral. Know that I will be there in spirit. Love you so much Linda. Jim and family, you have my heartfelt sympathies. Jan Hartwig, MHS class of 1979 (have known Linda since 2nd grade)

I send my sincere and heartfelt love and condolences to Linda’s entire family (Jimmy, Connie, Tina and Eric and all others). We all are in shock that Linda could be separated from us so soon. She was such a strong beam of love, light, and life who will be missed by me, and I know many more. Linda and I were very good friends starting in high school as sophomores when I moved to Middleton. I was one of her ‘flock’ of bridesmaids in her and Jim’s wedding – another time she gathered her family and numerous friends. Linda and I always made it an important point to keep in touch with each other over the 35+ years, even if it was just a letter or email a few times per year. We knew we’d be loyal friends forever. Her hard work and well-deserved pride was found with and in her family. Her children are strong and loving young adults who have the same kind characteristics that made Linda who she was - a loving friend, mother and wife. I sense they will carry-on her light with their children too. I will miss Linda very much. I apologize I cannot attend the services, but I will be with you in all in thoughts and prayers, offering my support. Deep sympathies, Mindy Schlimgen Prescott, AZ
