Obituary
DOLPHIN, LAWRENCE M.
LODI-Lawrence (Larry) M. Dolphin, age 66, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on November 8, 1947, in Madison to Marvin and Rosie (Wenger) Dolphin Sr. Larry married Susan A. (Lafferty) Dolphin on December 22, 1997.
Larry worked as a mechanic with Oscar Mayer for over 33 years until his retirement. His favorite place was working in his garage. Larry loved to restore cars, especially working on his 1956 Ford. He was very creative in wood working and loved to build things. Larry loved to hunt with his brothers and his cousin Ron Wenger. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
Larry is survived by his wife, Susan; daughter, Tracy Lynn (Dolphin) Archer; stepchildren Crystal (Mike) Hoffman and Benjamin (Danielle) Brault; 11 grandchildren; siblings, Elaine (Morris) Dixon, Rosalind (Michael) Bushnell, Marvin (Paege Heckel) Dolphin Jr. and Bill (Laura) Dolphin; and many nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and stepdaughter, Ashley Brault.
