I have such fond memories of Stan. He used to bring us popcorn from the bank on Fridays, making him our instant hero! He made me laugh every time someone would sneeze and he'd respond with this silly German word, "Gesundheit!" Now I say it to my daughter. I always think of Stan on our birthday, we share the date, and I always will. I'm reminded of him when I see the flags flying over the Middleton medians on the 4th of July. Most importantly, Stan was a good husband to one of life's VIPS, our dear Freda, and he was a good friend to my family. Here's to an exemplary life well lived!
