Susan P. Busby

I expect that her legacy as a teacher will continue as she enjoys life on the other side. She spoke often of her gratitude for being the benefactor of the love and admiration of children. When she shared her feelings about the rich life God had blessed her with, it was always about the richness working with children brought to her existence. She is truly a star in the heavens now. The family reunions will never be the same without you, Sue. I remember those family reunions when we were kids and we all met for a picnic at Grandpa Gust Larson's cottage on Lake Wisconsin on Father's Day. Then as we were growing up the venue changed and we would all play softball until we all decided we'd best not risk injury. Say 'hi' to the folks and we will see you in God's time. In the meantime, rest in peace, Sue, we will all miss you.

I miss you mom...

We were like sisters. We shared many good and bad times together. We had fun when she would come and visit us wherever we lived at the time. She was a very special lady and loved by all. We will miss her greatly.

This is a wonderful photo of Sue with her wonderful smile and twinkling eyes. She has touched so many people. I am proud to have known her through most of her years at Head Start. We will miss you Sue. We will toast you at the Pisces Party as you join the list of our other passing partiers including Margaret, Stella, and Pat. Jill Haglund
