Kara was an amazing woman who was so proud of her children and husband. She truly loved each of you and talked about you often. She was loving and gentle with her patients and feircly loyal of those she cared about. I have many wonderful memories working with Kara at Hospice , she was part of our family. And even after she left the inpatient unit to do in home care, she still stopped in to say hello and see how I was doing. She gave the gift of love freely and many were blessed by her care. I truly believe there is a special place in Heaven for those who have eased the way and held the hands of those who went before her. My heartfelt sympathy to Ron, her children, her parents and brother. Her amazing energy and beautiful heart will be missed by many. Sincerely, Tina Brown

You do not know me - Ron, my name is Lynea LaVoy and I have grown up with Jaime Sullivan Hendrickson. She told me about Kara. I cannot imagine the pain you are going through. I wanted to reach out to let you know that you are in prayer circles of people you do not even know and that Kara's memories and journey have been shared beyond people you even think of. My mother passed away from ALS this year (she was 60) and we had the best nurses with Hospice. I can only imagine the wonderful caring heart that Kara had as a caregiver. She must be one beautiful soul. Having just gone through loss, I know there's nothing one can say to make this better/easier. But as a friend of Jaime's, I also love and appreciate the family you have to include Jazz in the obituary as a daughter and not labeling her as a step daughter. That speaks volumes to who your family is and the life that will continue in her honor.
