SALLAY, STANLEY D.
MCFARLAND-Stanley D. Sallay, age 52, of McFarland, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at home after a courageous, five year battle with cancer. He was born on April 3, 1961, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Freeman and Bernice (Lucas) Sallay. Stanley had a love for cars. He enjoyed mechanics, body work and attending car shows. Stanley worked for Webcrafters for 13 years. He is survived by his significant other of 13 years, Linda Kampmeier of McFarland; sons, James Dawson of Madison, Stan Sallay Jr. of Madison, and Brandon Sallay of Madison; sisters Beatrice “Bea” McCoy of Madison, and Louise “Lou” McFadden of Iowa; brothers, Joe Jackson of Ohio, John “Micky” Sallay of Madison, Charles “Chuck” Sallay of Madison, Everett Sallay of Iowa, and Aaron Taylor of Milwaukee; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Martha Sallay; and many other cousins, relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014 at Noon. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
