My fondest memories are of those we shared together at Christmas Eve gatherings back in the day. I remember lots of laughing and smiling, card playing, and good food. Marilyn's warm smile will be missed by all who loved her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family during this difficult time. Julie, Scott, Leah Wempner

My deepest and sincere condolences to all the Ward and Barsness families. As a kid, I and my brothers spent many a day at the Ward household playing baseball, army, video games, and just running around on our bikes and mini-bikes. Marilyn Ward was almost our 'second mom.' She is now back with Wayne in heaven and with the Lord. - Todd Weger and family, Safety Harbor, FL

Our deepest condolenses to the Ward and Barsness family. I have many childhood memories of playing in the sandbox, sledding, riding snow mobiles and mini-bikes down at Mr. and Mrs. Wards house. Making hay in the summertime when it was hot and selling corn with Greg and Mike on the side of the road. The sleep over's and making "fort's" with all the cushions in the family room. The snacks we would have just before bed. Marilyn, or Mrs. Ward (as we called her) had a way of making you feel like she was your mom too! She was a truly wonderful lady and will be missed by many. May she rest in peace now next to Wayne (Mr.Ward) and her loved one's that have passed. God Bless you! -Tim Weger and Family, Madison,WI
