Obituary
MADISON-Evelyn Grace Macaulay, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at Columbus Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Columbus, Wis. She was born in Columbus, Wis., on Oct. 26, 1926, to Edward and Leota (Kreger) Schliewe. On Aug. 31, 1957, she was united in marriage with Philip Macaulay at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Madison. In 1983 she retired after 30 years of employment with WMTV in Madison. Evelyn is survived by her sister, Myrtle (Philip) Peterson of Columbus; along with nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip; parents; sister, Dorothy Koehn; and brother, Elmer Schliewe. A private family service will be held. Entombment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park in Monona. Memorials may be given to the Columbus Senior Center.
