I've always admired Christine and the great work she did with people with disabilities. She taught me a great deal and I valued her as a colleague and a friend. I tried (don't think it worked) to upload a photo of her conducting the Nova Singers during the national anthem at a Milwaukee Bucks game. I hung this picture on the wall of my office for several years as a reminder to remember those who are often forgotten.

Christine will be sorely missed by the many she worked with at St. Coletta of Wisconsin in Jefferson. Her love of music will live on through the clients she helped to develop their talents, as well as those who perhaps didn't display as much talent but who Christine encouraged to participate because that love of music was in their hearts. One thing that I remember, in particular, was how proud she was of her education at Notre Dame. I'm glad that she was able to complete that dream.

A little know event in Christine's life is when she was a student at "David Lipscomb College" in Nashville, TN. We were then living in WV and my husband had come to Nashville on the bus. When he came back, Christine was driving him home and she stayed with us for a few days. That was a pleasant surprise having known her and her family during my growing up days in Buchanan., MI. I know how much she will be missed. Comfort is wished for the whole family. Lee and Fran (Raven) Avers

We have known Christine and Ken for many years--going back to Lincoln Christian College. She has always been a beautiful lady both inside and out! We have not seen her often in the last years since we've lived in different places, but when our paths crossed we were always able to share the joys of serving the Lord. We will be praying for you Ken, Nancy and family. Debbie and Vicki

I have shared so many great memories with Christine, starting with here weekly visits to Golden Options Adult Day Care for a good part of 10 years. Christine and I became a duo for many special dances, and Holiday events planned at the Day Care throughout the years.. Christine would be playing her piano or accordion, and I on my accordion or organ.. There was always much singing and dancing when she was around. .. She accompanied our group on on a float in the Gemetlikeit Parade on her AutoHarp one year...The Bucks game performance with Nova was such a thrill for the group and Christine's talent and determination for the group too shine was so apparent ....Christmas is such a special time and her program at St. Coletta with her students, and guest performers, created the Joy of the Season. Christine and her Music, touched the lives of so many people that the choir of Angels in Heaven is singing louder now that she has joined them. Christine's love of those she mentored, taught, and motivated will shine through those that have been touched, being privilaged to have known and worked with her. It seems fitting that we are "Celebrating her life." She loved her family, Ken, Nancy, Mom, Sister, nieces and nephews, and talked of you often...God be with you in this difficult time, the world is a better place because we have known her...
