Obituary

MADISON-Elizabeth F. (Zeller) Tipler, age 89, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013. She was born on Feb. 4, 1924, in Madison, the daughter of John and Edna (Kubly) Zeller. Elizabeth married Harold E. Tipler on Nov. 7, 1953, in Madison. She graduated from Madison East High School, and retired from Madison General Hospital in 1984. Elizabeth was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the love of her life and she enjoyed spending countless hours with them. Elizabeth is survived by her son, Harold J. (Marcy) Tipler; stepson, Keith (Marge) Tipler; grandchildren, Brandie Tipler and Maggie (Nick) Tipler-Samardich; and great-grandchildren, Londyn and Zayden. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; four brothers, Edwin, John, Kenneth, and Keith; stepson, Loren; and stepmother, Ann. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park at a later day. Memorials may be directed to March of Dimes, 5315 Wall St #110, Madison, WI 53718. Dear Tip family: I worked with Betty at Madison General for five years and my mother-in-law Lucy was her neighbor on High Street. She is a wonderful friend and boss and will be missed by a lot of us. My sympathy and prayers be with you and the family Jane Johnson (Phx, Az.)
