COLUMBUS-Theron Allen McHone, age 64, of Columbus, died on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at Select Specialty Hospital in Madison, after a brief illness. Theron was born on Aug.28, 1949, in St. Paul, Minn., to Elmer Forest and Violet (Johnson) McHone. Theron was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters, Janice (Richard) Zins and Florence (Norman) Richardson. A celebration of Theron’s life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., with a tribute and social hour to follow. Theron and I practically grew up together. He was only 3 years older than me. I always followed him around whenever we went to Grannys(Violet) on the weekends .I thought the world of him, felt like he was a big brother.I lost touch with him after they moved back to Wisconsin.Sure will miss him,he was aspecial guy.So good to know he is with the Lord and has peace.
