Phyllis Ann Gasner

MCFARLAND-Phyllis Gasner, age 77, of McFarland, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at home, after a brief illness. She was born on July 3, 1936 in Baraboo, the daughter of Harold and Violet Schutte. She married Jack Gasner on Jan. 5, 1956 in Dubuque, Iowa. Phyllis loved to bowl, and enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Jack Gasner; and sister, Lois Week; son, Timothy Gasner; granddaughters, Kristin (Jason) Soderling and Briona Dunbar; great grandchildren, Kylee, Sadie and Caedyn; and many other nieces and nephews; and sister, Lois Week. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Schutte; and brother-in-law, Richard Week. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013. Burial will follow at HIGHLAND MEMORY GARDENS. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the family.
