We will miss you Harold! Such a wonderful, caring friend and neighbor... We'll always remember chatting on the back porch, catching up over fresh fruit and veggies from the garden, or having you over to our impromptu campfires. He touched so many lives in so many great ways. We are honored to have been his friend. Ferne and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. ~ The Hall Family

Harold was a great man and always enjoyable to be around. I will miss the phone ringing at Dean's Court when Rob, Jon, Jeff, Ray, and I are there for a hunting or work weekend. It's the only time the land line at the cabin ever rang. He always had to check in to see how the fish were biting, how many grouse we had, and if we were getting the work done in the proper fashion. Ferne and family...know that we too loved "H", and that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

From Steve and Susanne Hurst and Jack and Marlene Hurst : Our sincere condolences to Ferne, April, Rob, Lew Owens, Judy, Gary, Tim and Heidi Hahn. Harold was a positive influence on Stuart , Steve Hewuse , and I as young men coming of age. I loved spending time fishing and hunting with Harold ,Stuart and Lew. I know he really cared about us and the decisions we made as it applied to our future. Our mutual passion for fishing and hunting traditions and love for the great outdoors made us kindred spirits. Sorry we missed the service Dad and I were at the farm. Harold was a good man and will be missed by all that knew him. Just wanted you to know that we are all thinking of you and your families. You have our prayers. Take Care. Sincerely : Steve Hurst
