Grace Norma Knutson

LODI-Grace B. Knutson, age 90, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013. She was born on October 17, 1922 in Evansville, IN, the daughter of Thomas and Lydia (Grefe) Byrne. Grace was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during WWII. She attended Palmer School of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where she earned her degree in 1949. It was here she met her husband Richard W. Knutson. They were married on December 22, 1949 in Evansville IN. In addition to Richard, her husband of 63 years, survivors include her two sons, Paul (Celia) and Dan (Mary); grandson, Billy; sister-in-law, Jeanne Byrne; other relatives and many friends. Grace was preceded in death by her brother Daniel Byrne Memorial services will be held at CALEDONIA PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, N5123 State Road 78, Portage, at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 19, 2013 with Pastor Paula Bremer presiding. Visitation will be held on Saturday at1:00 pm until the time of the service at the church.
