I met Peg in my store, JoAnne's Dress Shop in Monroe. She would come in with alterations for us to do for her. I very much enjoyed our visits when she came in. Many stories she shared and just the warmth and friendliness of Peg. She will be missed by everyone that she has touched. She was an amazing woman. JoAnne Leuenberger

I remember meeting Peg at our Prairie Enthusiasts meetings back around 1998 or 1999. She was a very sweet lady with a lot of knowledge. A great resource person! She also had a good sense of humor and was very gracious. Sorry for her family's loss.

Peg was more then a neighbor to us. When we met her in 1987, she made us feel right at home and welcomed us with open arms. As the years went on, our kids basically grew up with her and they would make it a point to stop over and show Peg their Halloween costumes. She adored them and always had great advice for them. My husband and I enjoyed hearing memories of Frank......I wish I could have met him, I'm sure he was an amazing human being, as Peg was. We will miss her smile and miss giving her hugs. She was like a family member to us and she will forever be in our hearts. Heaven just received another angel. Rest in peace Peg......you were one of a kind!!!!!! Love Forever.

Peg was a member of the Union Directorate when I was President of the Union. She, further was an Associate Trustee, member of the Memorial Union Buiding Association (MUBA) when I was and still am, a Trustee. My association with her through the Memorial Union in Madison goes back almost 70 years. I remember Peg most fondly and can attest to the wonderful things that she did and the pleasure of working with her over all these years. My most sincere condolences to her family. She certainly will be missed. Walter Pancoe (wpancoe@aol.com)

We will forever remember Peg Stiles as a leader who rallied the community to preserve a beautiful, historic asset, now known as the Monroe Arts Center. We hold fond memories of working with her on many MAC-related projects, and will always remember her gracious demeanor and ever-ready smile! Our sincere sympathy to the family. - Bob & Judy Knudtson
