Obituary

MADISON-Beverly Siria, age 74, of Madison, passed away on Nov. 18, 2013, at Meriter Hospital. She was born on Aug. 4, 1939, in Illinois, the daughter of Kernie and Helen Siria. Beverly met the love of her life, Ilene Morse, in 1981, at Beloit Memorial Hospital and they shared 32 wonderful years together. She retired from Meriter Hospital in 2012. Beverly regularly attended the farmers market. She was an avid reader and a lover of Native American culture. She was very skilled at craft work and tried to touch as many people as she could through her arts and crafts. Beverly gave to various charities and tried to love the world into wholeness. Beverly is survived by her partner, Ilene Morse; sister, Diane Sadausky; nephew, Mark (Sherry) Sadausky; great-nephew, Kernie Sadausky; and dog, Jazz. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kernie Siria. Memorial services for Beverly will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013. Private burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday. Ilene will miss you saying, “It is what it is.” So, love everyone. Love this picture of Beverly! That is the smile I will remember when I think of Bev. Her willingness to pray for all of us, remember us in hard times and love all of us faults and all was remarkable. I will miss her "Spunky" attitude and ability to laugh. Keep praying for us Bev, as we will for you.

Bev you will be missed by me and all those others who lives you touch. I will miss your smile all I do now is close my eyes and I can see that great smile. I was so glad to have you in my corner thru my cancer with alot of other people. Enjoyed our talks about our childhood and stories about growing up.
