Gary R Kruger

MADISON-Gary R. Kruger, age 62, passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, in Marshfield, after a courageous battle with many illnesses. Gary was born to Roy and Inez Kruger on Oct. 30, 1950. He was married to Lisa Wiza on June 15, 2013. Gary served in the armed forces from 1968 until 1970, in Korea. He is survived by his wife, Lisa; mother, Inez; daughter, Teri; two sons, Tom and Christopher; three grandchildren, Cory, AJ, and Eli; one great-grandson, Kace and two on the way; brothers, Tom (Jynon) Kruger, Craig (Jane) Kruger, and Jack Kruger; sisters, Sue (Jeff) Barker and Jill (Ben) Olson; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Roy; wife, Nancy; infant son, Gary, Jr and his sister-in-law Sharon Kruger. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013 with military rites. Burial will be at Belmont Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home.
