MADISON- Julie Flom Hammonds, age 45, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, in Janesville. She was born on Sept. 7, 1968, in Madison, the daughter of Kenneth and Donna Flom. Julie graduated from Madison Memorial High School. She was a hard worker, who always put her family first. Julie is survived by her mother, Donna Flom; three sons, Dionne Flom-Page, Tony (Tanisha) Longino and Tyrice Longino; five grandchildren and expecting one more; brother, Duane (Laurie) Flom; sister, Lisa Flom; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth; husband, Chris Hammonds; and her grandparents. A Celebration of Julie’s Life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from noon until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. I send my condolences to the family of Julie. I know you all are hurting right now and I will continue to pray for you. I will miss her dearly but I can rejoice in saying that I was blessed to know her. Her smile is forever etched in my heart. She was a great lady - always welcoming me with a big hug. I just wanted to send out my deepest sympathy to Julies family,I'm so sorry for the lost of your loved one I can slso feel the pain that you all are feeling also, because Julie was not only my friend she was just like a sister to me,Julie and we both have had some really good times together even though I moved to another state we still always stayed in contact with one another because that's just how strong our friendship was she was family to me, I am truly going to miss talking to her hearing that voice.
