Richard Alt

MADISON-Richard Duwayne Alt, age 75, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013. He was born on May 25, 1938, in Dodgeville, to John and Wilma (Rundle) Alt. Richard was very close with his mother. They were avid Brewers fans and attended many home games over the years. Richard was always a hard worker who showed up for work every day. He always thrived within the supportive community in downtown Madison. Richard is survived by his sister, Lois Nordness; brothers, Lawrence Alt and Paul Alt; and many friends and relatives, especially his very close friend and caregiver, Jean Rose. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Rodney Alt; and sister, Joyce Dolson. Funeral services will be held at ST. LUKE’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7337 Hubbard Ave., Middleton, at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013. Burial will be at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
