Alvina Frye was a amazing person. I will always remember all those freezing cold Saturday mornings when we bowled in the youth leagues. I would sneak into the Bowl and hide my favorite bowling ball on Friday night. ( Brunswick 216 ) and then I would be the first kid there on Saturday morn. Always by 7:15 am. Alvina would always let me in early and then lock the door. She said to me Jimmy you have to sit right here and NO monkey business. My respect for her only grew from there. My years in Juniors then adult bowling and then even when I stopped bowling. She always had some thing nice to say. Alvina had that great smile and had compassion for all of us kids. She was very special to me. I will think of her with tremendous respest and gratitude. Earl and Alvina were truly pillars of this community. They really provided a great place for all of us kids to hang out. AND ..Treated us very well. They may be gone from our village BUT.. THEY WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY MEMORY. GOD BLESS EARL AND ALVINA FRYE. With all my respect, Jim Snow.

MaMa always had the BEST potato salad - there is nothing like hers. I will miss her smiles, and generous thoughts of me regarding Wizard of Oz memorabilia ~ she has always had something special waiting for me at her house over the years. They will be treasured always and forever. I pray you are having a great time with Earl, and dressing up all fancy in your angel wings (best dressed lady I have ever known) for your dinner dates. RIP MaMa -- Much love, kisses, and friendship ~ Cheryl
