Dresen, Thomas J.
RACINE-Thomas J. Dresen, age 81, of Racine, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 28, in FItchburg. Tom was born April 17th, 1932 in Racine, to Jacob and Veronica (Hellmann) Dresen. He married Dema Beaver on September 10th, 1951 in Racine and together they had 5 children.
Tom was an avid deer hunter and had a knack for fixing anything with his hands. He had an incredible work ethic and enjoyed a career as a Machine Repair Specialist. Tom was a family favorite and every Sunday he and Dema opened their home to family and friends.
Tom is survived by his wife of 62 years and the love of his life, Dema; children, LaDonna Albanese, John (Lynne) Dresen, Linda (Robert) Lamb, Kay Dresen-Poplawski, Wesley (Roxann) Dresen; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and his dog, Lucky.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers; 4 sisters; a grandson, Thomas; and son-in-law, Joe Albanese.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the family’s home at 2509 Ravenswood Rd in Madison from 11:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. October 26th, 2013, with a Time of Remembrance at 11:00 a.m .
The family would like to wish a special thank you to Patti. Jordy and Sharon for the incredible care they gave Tom. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to Agrace HospiceCare Inc., 5395 E. Cheryl Pkwy., Fitchburg, WI 53711.

Tina and I would like to offer our sincerest condolences. Tom was a good man and I remember fondly the many years of hunting and farming and I will always remember his help in the time of need. Our prayers go out to Dema, John, LaDonna, Linda, Kay and Wesley and all of the grandkids and great grandkids. May God's grace ease your pain.
