Gerald John Riddle

MADISON-Gerald “Jerry” Riddle, age 73 of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at the VA Hospital. He was born on July 29, 1940 in Madison. Jerry graduated from Central High School in 1959. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and left in 1962. Jerry was a lifelong Madison resident and worked as a journeyman carpenter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening, but most of all enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was also an avid Badger, Brewer, and Packer fan. Jerry is survived by his son, Steve Riddle of Cottage Grove; daughter, Jane Kossel of Middleton; grandchildren, Stevie , Zack, Natalie , Olivia, and Logan; brothers, Thomas (Mary) Riddle of Madison, and Timothy (Donna) Riddle of Juneau. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Leona Riddle; and brother, Richard Riddle. Memorial Service will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK, 401 Femrite Dr., Monona, at noon on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, with the Rev. Jerry Amstutz presiding.
