My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of this amazing teacher. My class was the last 2nd Grade class she taught before retiring. I will always remember her reading Charlotte's Web to us and still have the book "The Story of Harriet Tubman" that she signed and gave to me for a reading incentive. We were able to visit with her a few years ago when she was in Tigerton for her Class Reunion. She was a joy to know and a truly inspiring woman and teacher.
