Such a flood of memories come back thinking about Don. The first one is when he came home to be with his brother and wife after being in the service. They lived across the street from us at that time. I can just picture him smiling and laughing dressed in his jeans cutoffs and being so happy. He did love to smile! I was still in high school and he loved to tease my younger sisters and me. He was a friend to my father and they talked a lot about FLA. and living there. He was a wonderful person and I know he is missed by his family as well as his many friends.

Nancy, Robin, and Mike - Even though I'm 750 miles away, I read the news on Madison.com every day and for some reason I happened to check the obituaries. Whether it was the drive-up at CNB (with Mitre) or at a soccer game, it was always a pleasure to see Mr. Sheldon! My deepest sympathy for your loss. -Marie Myers Shearing
