Obituary
MADISON – Betty J. Mellum, age 83, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013 in Waunakee. She was born on Nov. 25, 1929, in Cambria. She is survived by her husband, Virgil of 60 years; a brother, Robert Jones; children, Brian (Jill) and Denise (Dean) Sunderlage; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; and two infant grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at LAKE EDGE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4032 Monona Drive, Monona, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, with the Rev. Steven Marsh officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to APA (American Parkinson’s Association). Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

We are so sorry to hear of Betty's passing. She was a very special lady ! We are unable to come down to the funeral, but will be praying for you.I talked to LeRoy and he is on a trip.
