CHICAGO-Shirley Libal, age 67, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, in Madison Wisconsin. She was born on July 27, 1946. She married William Libal on July 22nd, 1972. She loved music, cooking, traveling and playing cards, and Sherlock Holmes. Shirley is survived by her husband of 41 years, William; daughter, Christine Ann (Bob) Wainer; grandchildren, Erick (Dorothy) Bennis, Jessica Wainer, and Sharon Bennis; great-grandchildren, James Bennis, Kylie Bennis, and Lexi Helder; sisters, Rose Gerrick and Dorothy Chojnowski; brother, Richard (Pat) Schwager; niece, Kathy Vjestica; great-nieces, Michele and Angela Vjestica; great-nephews, Steven (Tanya) Vjestica, Brian and Stephen Meyers; and great-great-nieces, Melinda (Max) Flores, Maddix and Madison Flores; Raquel Hernandez, Damien, Zack Xia Hernandez, Lea , Lilly and Nikko William-Vjestica, Ava, Steven Vjestica; Taylor and Austin Meyers. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna; brother, Robert Plummer; sisters, Babe Watson and Betty Vlasak; and special uncle, Martin Gerrick. Memorial services will be held in Joliet on September 14th, 2013, at the home of Christine Wainer 105 Morris Street, Joliet IL 60436 at 2:00 pm. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com. Mrs Libal, I know I didn't know you but, I know you had a great infulence on your daughter. She is a very classy women, she has a wonderful heart and soul. Mom (Shirley) Thanks for always being there to pick me up when I would take off from my house. You never yelled just listened to all of us who came to your house and always opened the door for us no matter what time we showed up. I hope you know how much we all appreciated and loved you. Miss and love you much!!!!!
