Cleao A Sullins

MADISON-Cleao Sullins, age 80, passed away on Monday, Aug. 5, 2013. He was born in Madison, the son of William Sullins and Ruth (Walrath) Sullins. Cleao was a lifelong resident of Monona and Madison, where he shared 55 years with his wife, Lois, who preceded him in death. He was employed by Red Dot and Spring Fashion (formerly Grabers) from where he retired. Cleao was an avid stock car owner and could be found at the Jefferson Speedway during racing season, with his blue and white #77 Ford. He will be greatly missed by family and special friend, Delos “Sonny” Dyer; special cousin, Gordon “Gordy” Sheets. Cleao is further survived by his only brother, Robert (Marian) Sullins of Madison; and two nieces, Tina (Steve) Collier of Cottage Grove and Sonya Sullins of Madison. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Judy (Mable) Sullins. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday.
