MADISON-Robert W. Schwenk, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, in Madison, the results of a tragic accident. He was born on Jan. 3, 1941, the son of Charles & Elda Schwenk. He is survived by family and friends. A graveside service will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK, 401 Femrite Drive, Monona, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013. Bob's endearing spirit will be missed. He lit up a room with his smile and humor. His generosity and looking out for others was steadfast. I knew Bob thru my job at the Methodist church in downtown Madison. He helped us at our community holiday meals and was a dedicated volunteer and participated in our outreach ministries. Bob, you will be missed and were one of a kind!

I will never forget you BOB, you saved my cat and for that you will always hold a spot in my heart. Bob a kind, caring and helpful (list goes on) person that would take his shirt off for anyone. So sad it ended like this. RIP MY FRIEND.
