Carol Dottl

MADISON-Carol Ann Dottl, age 69, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at Badger Prairie Health Care Center in Verona. She was born on Sept. 18, 1943, in Madison, the daughter of Joseph J. and Barbara P. (Bruer) Dottl. Carol was educated at home by her parents. She enjoyed the simple things in life, her stuffed animals, listening to Elvis and Barry Manilow, working on art projects, watching Ed Sullivan and Lawrence Welk, and stories about her dog, King and Samantha (her father’s Cadillac). Carol Ann is survived by her aunt, Betty Harrington; uncles; nieces and nephews, Lane Dottl of Oregon, Darren Dottl of Sun Prairie, Heather Dottl of Winona, Minn., and Peggy Perry of Dodgeville; cousins, Joan Gorman of Madison, Randy Dreger of Evansville, Dan Dreger of Windsor, Pam Tulley of Stoughton and Gary Harrington of Madison; along with numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Janice Dreger; and brother, David Dottl. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON FITCHBURG FUNERAL HOME, 2950 Chapel Valley Road, Fitchburg, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday.
