Jeff was loved by everyone. He was always quick to smile and as soon as he did everything around him seemed to light up! I have so many great memories of the Redds hanging out the Beswick's and the Beswicks at the Redd's. When i think of Jeff I remember a young man that was led by his conviction, he was a leader and always wanted to do the right thing. He had such a sweet spirit. We are so sorry for your loss and all of the Beswicks are praying for Eric, Debbie, Becky,Jamie and Josh. Warm regards, Julie B.

My memories of Jeff are fond & many. Jeff was like a brother to me. He was a bright, talented, loving friend. Growing up on Rollingwoods we had many great times together. You could not ask for a better neighborhood and neighbors to grow up with. We had fun playing football at the Wilbanks, riding go carts and mini bikes, building forts on the mound, playing in the muck pits. Life was so much fun; we did not need x-box, face book or the internet to entertain us. We had the great outdoors. There was never a dull moment. We would go make our own trails and explore all the mined out phosphate pits around the area. Jeff was always easy going and I do not recall him ever getting upset or mad. I remember the time when we were playing in the house they were building next door (Swindell's house), Jeff and I both had on our superman suits (we were probably 10 or 11). We were playing in the attic and I stepped through the ceiling and fell 2 stories onto the concrete floor, when I came to, I looked up and Jeff had his head stuck in the hole and Yelled "Was it Fun?? I wonder if I would have said yes if he would have tried it. I remember when he got his Suzuki MX 50 motorcycle, his first true love. He loved to ride and he was a great motocross rider. I think of the many Saturday nights with Jeff, staying up to the wee morning hours watching movies at the Redd's. Jeff was an accomplished piano player and the drum major. He always wanted to do what was right, and was a great positive influence on me. Jeff was a great friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Our prayers go out to all the Redd Family.

When I think of Jeff I think of his big smile; his love for the great outdoors; and his love for his son Eric. I had the privilege of being Jeff's brother and cherish every moment we had together. I have faith that Jeff is looking down from heaven with that same big smile on his face and know that one day we will all see him once again. I love you brother Jeff.

It was an honor to be Jeff Redd's friend, because Jeff honored others. Like the rest of the Redd family, hospitality and friendliness flowed in his veins. Sincerity and integrity were among his strongest qualities. To be in his company was to stop and enjoy the moment, a time for celebration, and a reason to appreciate some of life's beauty. Although he seemed somehow princely and beautiful, he was at the same time easy to be around and also a whole lot of fun. Ever cheerful, always encouraging, and sharing profound thoughts, in his own way and in his heart Jeff Redd loved and cherished all those dear to him, and held a genuine concern for everyone else. May we meet again in God's glorious kingdom.

I have many fond memories of Jeff and his family as they were our neighbors during mine and my siblings' childhoods. Jeff was a truly sweet soul. He had a very easy-going nature, was friendly, out-going in a laid-back way, and always wore a smile. I remember when he and my brother, Mark, and I experimented with lighting matches. We sat in the ditch in the Redd's yard and struck the matches inside the drain pipe. I guess we were thinking that no adults would notice the smoke even though the ditch was in plain view of our home, the Redd's home and the street that ran alongside the ditch! I also remember Jeff as the consummate politician in high school. Seemed like he always had campaign signs hanging around campus. I believe his mother was his campaign manager :), and as I recall, he generally won the elections! He had a winsome personality that served him well in his high school political career. My prayers are with the Redds as they grieve the loss of another family member. I pray for the Lord's comfort and presence to envelope the family. Lisa Beswick McLeod
