Vern was the most dedicated single Dad I have ever known. I witnessed his dedication almost daily for several Summers while we involved with youth and teen baseball. He gave his all and asked only that his boys got a fair opportunity. My condolences to Jason and Jeremy and may you guys always follow your Dad's example.

I worked wtih Vern for 15 years and he was one of the hardest working people I know. He was not only detecated to his boys but also very proud of both of them. I got to know Vern very well and he didn't like onions, so whenever he would come over for dinner or a meal my wife Debbie would always make Vern's "Special" W/O onions, but at the same time loved onion rings. He liked playing darts and was very frustrated when Jason got better than him. He liked the Milwaukee Brewere, Wisoonsin Badgers, & of course those Packers. I did get to football games and hockey games to watch the Badgers with Vern and it was always fun. He would come visit Debbie and I when we were camping around and have fun. He also liked fishing and camping with his boys. Ven will be missed not only as a co-worker but as a good friend. RIP Your Friends Debbie & Bryan Persson
