I was so sorry to hear of Charlie's death today. Mom and Dad (Elsie Zingg Denner and Vernon Denner) had such fond memories of visits with Arnold and Mildred, Charlie and Jan - they LOVED playing cards together. Arnold was also an important person to my own family as his gifts of worms and fun "boys" stuff enriched my son and daughters' lives. I am currently on the east coast so I won't be able to make the funeral tomorrow. I wish I had been closer as I would have loved to honor his memory by personally giving you a hug and sharing our family memories. I guess this written condolence will have to suffice however it doesn't come close to what I would have preferred to do. Hugs and much love to all of you as you go through this life changing event……memories DO make things easier.

I am so sorry to hear about Charlie. He will be missed by so many people. We will not be coming down for the service as we are 170 miles north by Eau Claire. I do want you to know that we will be thinking of you.

Janet, Words could never express how much Charles will be missed. Your heart remembers remembers, and memories comfort you and your family. I remember when Charles took my son, Jason, on a 4-wheeler ride. Every time I drove past Middleton/Verona on "M", I thought of you and Charles. You are all in my prayers. Peace, Jean Stover

Dave, Sorry to learn of your dad's passing. I always remember his familiar crew cut at our high school basketball games. It's never easy to lose a parent, they know us so well. My condolences in the days ahead
