Chester Leroy Elliott

DEERFIELD-Chester “Chet” Elliott, age 76, of Deerfield, passed away peacefully at Agrace HospiceCare on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. He was born on June 3, 1937, in Bear Valley to Chester Arthur Elliott and Lillie (Keller) Elliott. Chet married Judy Offerdahl on June 29, 1963. He worked for Monona Masonry for more than 40 years before his retirement. Chet is survived by his wife, Judy; son, Todd of Deerfield; daughter, Kristin (Jaime) of Cottage Grove and Sarah (Becky) of Madison; grandchildren, Brittany, Jeremy, Teagan, Brandon (Anita), Heather, Rebecca, and Roman; two dogs, Sierra and Molly; nieces and nephews; and many close friends. Chet was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dennis, Floyd, Willis, Harold, and Leo; and sister, Hilda. Memorial services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2013, with Pastor Afi Dobbins presiding. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013, and also from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
