Kaitlin Marie McGarrity

MIDDLETON-Kaitlin Marie McGarrity, age 26, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 6, 2013. She was born on May 16, 1987, in Madison. Kaitlin graduated from Middleton High School in 2005. She was an avid reader and music lover. The love of her life was her dog, Angel Baby. Kaitlin had a love for children and adored her nieces and nephews dearly. She had many struggles, but through them all she was very loved and loved others. Kaitlin’s heart was big, but often sad. She is survived by her mother, Christie McGarrity (Jim Schroeder); brother, Mike McGarrity (Meg Fisher) and his children, Azalea, Addison, Jack, and soon to be, Violet Kaitlin; “sister”, Holly (Steve) Ness and her children, Matt, Eddie and Sam; and all of her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, John Michael “Mac” McGarrity; maternal grandparents, John and Ilona Reinke; and paternal grandparents, John and Marie McGarrity. Funeral services will be held at ST. LUKE’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7337 Hubbard Avenue, Middleton, at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, with Pastor Heather Lampert presiding. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Avenue, Middleton, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2013, and also at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Tuesday. She will be deeply missed and remembered always. We will never forget her beautiful smile, her laughter, and the happy times. She shall rest in peace.
