David was a friend and colleague at Edgewood College. He was a great educator who cared deeply about his students. I recruited David to teach at Edgewood and I am forever grateful he did. Although it was a short time, I am very happy our paths crossed. David was one the most decent and honorable men I have met. He will be missed.

David and I first met when we worked together at SofTech back in the 70's. We often hiked together in the White Mountains, and we've been friends ever since. David was one of the most focused, disciplined, and organized people I've ever known. He worked hard at every aspect of his life, whether it was his consulting practice, renovating his home, teaching, managing his investments, or resolving problems in his personal life. He approached every problem he encountered with the belief that if he just worked diligently enough everything he cared about would come out right. My most enduring memory of David is his love and concern for his daughter Kelsey. When we talked on the phone I always heard about her friends, her school work, her music, and any problems she was experiencing in her life. We talked about her more than anything else. David always had her in mind, and always did everything he could think of to ensure her well being, happiness, and success. We'll all miss David terribly. Our thoughts and prayers are with David's family. Mike, Pam, & Victoria Albert

For almost 20 years, our lives were so intertwined, it was as if we were brothers. We shared life events, knew each others' families, and learned from each other (I am sure that I learned more). We celebrated, dreamed, cried. As Mike wrote, he had tremendous energy and focus. When he wanted to show love, his generosity and trust was boundless. I am a better person for having known him.

I met David when we both worked at SofTech in Waltham, MA. Dave helped me learn a methodology (SADT) that I ended up developing a career around. I had no idea of his whereabouts after I left SofTech, but out of the blue, decided to Google his name. Very disappointed to find that he passed away over 10 years ago. He was a brilliant guy. My condolences to his family.
