Obituary
MADISON-Ruth M. Redmond, age 86, of Madison and Bradenton, Fla., passed on to the Lord in heaven on Friday, June 14, 2013, at UW Hospital. She was born on Aug. 16, 1926, in Fennimore, the daughter of Ben and Matilda Bowers. She married William on April 11, 1953. Ruth was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her sons, Tom , Mike and Bill Redmond; grandchildren, Rachel, Amy, Andrew (Cassie), and Jason; great-grandchildren, Dominic, Taylor, Morgan, Michael, Christopher, and Olivia; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Ryan Redmond; sisters, Alice, Gladys, Beatrice, Wally and Marion; and brothers, Bernard, Tom, and Ralph. Honoring Ruth’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A Celebration of Life honoring Ruth and her husband, William will be held on a future date. My sympathy to Ruth's family. I worked for Bill and he and Ruth became great friends over many years. Ruth and I exchanged e-mails and recipes on a regular basis. I miss them both.
