Dear Violet, Doug & Wendy, From our family we send our deepest sorrow at learning of the death of Wes. From the first time we met 21 years ago, you and Wes welcomed us to Lodi and West Point. Wes must have truly enjoyed watching us take on a small bit of sheep raising. He probably laughed till his sides hurt. Even so, he always took the time to share his advice and kind words. We learned so much history and appreciation for farming from Wes and Doug, especially the hardwork and long days. And also how everyone pitches in. from Violet at the wheel of the tractor and Wendy getting feeding chores done. We have always felt so lucky for having neighbors like the Attoes. The sunrise over Okee Bay will be a little less bright this week. I am sorry to miss the service but hope to give my condoleces in person over the weekend upon my return. Our hearts are heavy, Wendy & Laurent Soucie

My thoughts are with you Wes and your family. I looked up to you as a boy and young man. I remember some of my best days working beside you and sharing a meal with the crew. Bowling competitively at 80, amazing. Mom was always jealous of your bowling accomplishments. "God made a Farmer" commercial during Super Bowl - I thought of You. Goodbye, rest easy my hard working friend.

We are so sorry for your loss, we will always remember his help on the big ice dive this winter. Not too many were willing to brave the cold, but Wesley was out there working right along with us all day long.
