Ruth Harper

MADISON-Ruth Ann Harper, age 83, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Monday, June 10, 2013. She was born on July 13, 1929, in Madison, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Spring. Ruth graduated from Madison East High School in 1947. She married James Harper and they had a wonderful life together. Ruth loved her family deeply and brought so much joy to all those who knew her. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Vicki Harper; granddaughter, Ashley Harper; several nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Cleo Spring, Betty Harper, and Dorothy Uhlenhake. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; and four brothers, Arthur, Wilbert, Walter, and Bob. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2013. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
