Obituary

MADISON-Beverly J. Straavaldsen, age 82, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on Dec. 2, 1930, in Blue Mounds, the daughter of Fred Rolff and Nora Lee. Her family meant everything to her. She is survived by her son, Terry (Ellen); daughter, Vicki (John) Dagenais; grandchildren, Erik (Sara) and Victoria “Tori” (Dustin); great-granddaughter, Cicely Grayce; brother, Robert Rolff; sister, Yvonne McDade; and her honorary daughter, Donna (John) Dollard; along with many other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vic; brother, LaVern: brother, Donald; and her parents. Bedside services were held at Agrace HospiceCare by the Rev. Mark Bartels on Thursday, May 30, 2013. A special thank you to Dr. Kim Kinsley and the wonderful staff at Agrace HospiceCare for preparing Bev for her journey and reunion with Vic and many other loved ones. A special thank you to the staff at St. Mary’s Oncology for their care during Bev’s illness. Memorials may be given to Agrace HospiceCare. Vicki, Sorry for the loss of your mother. Having lost my mom recently I know what you are going through. Cherish the memories of the good times you had with your her. I will always remember the trip I took with your mom to visit you in Kansas City! She was a fun lady. Fondly, Sue
