Obituary

LONG BEACH, CALIF.- Paul Alan Gorman, age 53, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2013. He was born on May 5, 1960, the son of Joan Buechner Gorman and Donald Gorman. He attended East High school. Paul was involved in many sports. He was a jack of trades from construction to repairing cars. Paul had a deep love for hunting and fishing and a lifetime of camping with his family. He loved his time he spent with his children, grandchildren and family. His children and grandchildren were a very important part of his life. He is survived by his mother, Joan Gorman; children, Stacey Gorman and Nicole Gorman; grandchildren, Zariah and Gianna; brothers, Michael (Toni)Gorman, Jeffrey (Cathy Cerro) Gorman, and Douglas Gorman; sisters, Deborah Murray and Teresa Gorman; nieces and nephews, Travis, Danielle, Shannon, Erin (Brad) Scalissi,Samantha, Crystal, Cameron, Alexander, Maria, Shawn (Rebecca) Murray, Jordan Murray, Devin Murray, Justin (Erin) Gorman, Ryan, Sarah Williams, and August Keith; grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Sierra, Cora, Tielyr, McKayla, Xavier, Allana, Halle, Kacie, Trey, Brooklyn, Matthew, Elijah, Carter, and Ryleigh; uncle, Bud (Jane) Burdick; aunt, Judy (Dewey) Adreon; great-aunt, Betty Harrington; cousins, Scott, Shelia, Mike, Steve Volden, Kym Thompson, and Darwin Volden;second cousin, Gary (Margie)Harrington; and many special hunting and fishing buddies. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Gorman and his nephew, Troy Gorman. Paul's family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Meriter Hospital for all the support and care. We will all miss you Paul, and may there be a special place for you to fish in heaven. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service on Friday. Memorial services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013.

Dad I love you. I am going to miss you so bad, but I know you are watching over me and the girls. You are such a great dad and grandpa. I pray that you are at peace. My deepest regrets too you all, though i fell out of touch with Paul after he left Kipp, I always thought of our good-times.He was a hell of a football player and glad to have called him a friend, and a team-mate.

paul and i were attached at the hip for years we played football together,fished& hunted.i couldnt have chosen a better person to be my best man in marriage.we did every together life pushed us in different directions but he was always in my heart and thoughts.i think about the whole gorman family and the way they accepted me in there lives. class act. i love you guys. we lost a special guy.
