Coon, Paul Roger STOUGHTON- Paul Roger Coon, age 56, of Stoughton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 12, 2013. He was born on Oct. 2, 1956 in Madison. Paul married the love of his life, Lisa Mennes, on Aug. 30, 1980 in Stoughton. Paul worked in construction in Texas prior to coming back to his home town when he went to work for Badger Cab until his retirement. He will be remembered for his unique sense of humor, for being kind to all who crossed his path and for trying to treat everyone with dignity. Paul truly enjoyed being a father, a husband and the time he spent with his family. Paul is survived by his wife, Lisa; a son, Jonathan; a daughter, Megan; two sisters, Mary Kay Rutlin and Nancy (Bernie) Borchert; two brothers, Bob (Jodi) and Jim (Lori); special family friends, Richard, Gary and Jeff Onsrud, Jim and Susie Krause; and many nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Betty Coon; a brother, Tom; a sister, Linda; a niece, Julie; and a nephew, John. Memorial services will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, 1358 Hwy. 51, Stoughton, at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2013. A private burial will be held at a later date.
