Dear Molli Rae, Donald, Bobbie, Martin, Anne and Phillip,
We are so sorry to hear about Fred's passing and want you to know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. I have no doubt that the Pearlie Gates are being improved as we speak- Fred brought peace and harmony wherever he was and he will be missed.

May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead and know that I am in continual prayer for your health and renewal. I am so thankful and grateful for Fred and Mollie Rae in my life and for Anne. Fred shared in teaching me to chose to live on the heavenly side and look at things from above; to contemplate all things as God sees them, as Christ beholds them; to overcome sin; to defie Satan; dissolve perplexities; enjoy the details and engineering; to lift yourself above trials and separate from the world at times (him in the basement) and now he has conquers fear of death. He has blessed me in every way. Thank you for sharing him. My family, my parents, my husband, my children, my heart, my soul, my mind our better due to Fred Martin. His existence-his beating heart, his breathing on this planet made it a better place.
Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

We have known Fred for over two decades. He was a kind and generous person; a person at peace with himself and the world; a lover of family; a great teller of stories; full of life, curiosity and love. His light has dimmed but continues to live on in the lives of those he loved and touched. The world is a better place for having him with us. He is truly at peace now and we celebrate his gift to us all. He was much loved and cherished in his lifetime...he knew it,and returned it in full measure, unselfishly.

We were so sorry to learn of Fred's passing. You are in our thoughts. My, brother, Bill Carter, died in October 2012. Many years ago in their carefree days, Fred and Bill rode their bikes from Stockport to Moline to visit Fred's uncle. What an experience that must have been for them.
At our alumni banquet (June 8th) we always light a candle and read the name of those alumni that have died through the year. His name will be read along with his brother, Bob. We did not know he was deceased. Let me know when Bob died so we can add it to our books.
Take care!

To Martin family;
Will miss being able to see and visit with Fred when I'm able to visit this fine
Christian home in the future. Know he will be looking down and watching over one and all as his spiritual being is with the Lord. Grease and Pease.
