I read your lovely obituary of your son today as I was composing the one for my son. The love and respect you have for your son was so evident. I will not suppose to know your circumstances. My son suffered with depression and sleep apnea from adolescence although he was not diagnosed till he was 28. He was 32 when he died in his sleep. We still do not have a definitive cause but it only matters that he is gone. Things were very difficult at times and very joyful and fun at others. My heart reaches out with a hug from a parent who has been down a similar road. I hope you will find peace and joy. Lyz Long

Judy and Bernis, We were stunned and deeply saddened to learn of Cris' unexpected death. It has to be unimaginably painful to lose a child, especially unexpected and without warning, please accept our heartfelt condolences. You were wise and loving parents to Cris through his troubled periods, and more than anyone, you were responsible for the greatest measure of fulfillment and happiness he did find during his shortened life. If we can be of any help through this sad period, please call us. Love, Gail and Dennis
