Thane E. Uglow

Carol, you have my deepest sympathy..I am so glad you both made it to the class reunion for Muscoda 1967. I so enjoyed talking to you both and roasting Mr. Uglow. Although that wasn't my intention. I hope him and my Dad are having a good laugh over it. My husband and I will be out of town over the weekend, so I can't attend the funeral. God Bless you and help you in this time of sadness. I truly respected him and yes even loved him as the man he was. Again I am so sorry for your Loss..

Thane was a wonderful inspiration to many in the communities in which he lived. His dedication to the field of education was well recognized. He and Carol were a wonderful example of a good marriage and of good parents. May Thane enjoy his final reward in heaven. Sincerely, Mary Duerst

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Uglow was a good friend and boss to my mother from 1968 until her retirement as his secretary in 1973. She loved her years with the school district, and especially liked working with Mr. Uglow. As a senior in high school, I always felt welcomed by him every time I went to my Mom's office.
