Obituary
MONONA – Stanley E. Hovey, age 61, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013, after a long struggle with health issues. He was born on May 18, 1951, in Rockford and grew up in Monona. Stan worked in mechanical trades and could fix anything. He enjoyed auto racing of all kinds and spending time with family and friends. Stan is survived by his partner and best friend, Judy Walsvik and her children, Eric and Curtis; a daughter, Lisa (Randy) Fiscus; a brother, Roger (Lynn) Hovey; grandchildren, Alissa and Amanda Fiscus; nieces and nephews, Darcy, John, Melissa and Matt and their families. Stan was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Beverly Hovey. Funeral services will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, with Father Bart Timmerman presiding. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of the service on Wednesday at the church. Burial will be held at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made to www.gundersonfh.com.

We are deeply sorry for your loss. We always enjoyed seeing Stan outside and talking to him or waving at him. You have been through alot this last year. Please take comfort in the thought that Stan is looking down on you and in good health now. He will always be in your heart.
