Phyllis J Wanner

Phyllis loved music, whether listening or playing the organ or piano, and Big Band Swing put a dance in her step. She was a prolific letter writer, with a neat and tiny script. She also had a big heart for animals, loved a good garage sale or flea market, and car shows. The VFW Ladies Auxiliary benefited from her time & talent. Tiny in stature, big in heart, I am grateful to have known her.

Phyllis was a genuine lady who, at 93, still cared about her hairdo and manicure, and wore elegant rings on her fingers every day. My memories include her delightful sense of humor, our "girl talk", and sitting quietly with her just holding hands. It was a privilege to be a small part of her life.
