I am sorry for Helen's absence yet am happy for her reunion with her Lord. My family and I met Helen at American Way in Portage, where my father, Herman, is a resident. I always enjoyed seeing Helen as she had a big smile on her face. She was a beautiful lady, kind and sweet. I enjoyed visiting with her from time to time. God bless you, her family.

We lived right next door to your family in Madison on Gilmore/Cross Sts. That was 30+ years ago but you Mother was such a dear friend to me. We had our first child while living there and she was always there to guide me and answer all of my questions as a new mother. Her faith was so evident in all the ways that she lived her life and her love for you, her family, was so passionate. After we moved from Madison we stayed in contact for awhile, but, unfortunately, we lost touch. Now, to see that she lived in Portage, saddens me because my Mother also lives in Portage since my father died 10 years ago, and I wish that I had known she was there so that I could have taken the time to see her when I visited with my Mother. My heart goes out to you during this time of loss but I do know that she is an angel in heaven and she is singing her heart out. My love to you all.
