Obituary
MADISON-Nels Arlis Sandmire, age 46, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013. Nels was born on May 30, 1966. He is survived by his father, Auta “Art” Sandmire; mother, Valerie Sandmire; three brothers, Roy (Cheryl) Sandmire, Rick Sandmire, and Jeff (Cindy) Sandmire; nephew, Nick Fried; three nieces, Tabatha Fried, Kaytie Sandmire, and Mariah Sandmire; and good friend, Nancy Blum. Funeral services will be held at MESSIAH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5202 Cottage Grove Road, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, with the Rev. Jeff Vanden Heuvel presiding. Private burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens at a later date. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Monday.
