Jim was a very dear friend to my husband. He will be truly missed by our family. Frank always laughed about how the person who he considered to be his best friend is old enough to be his father :-) Jim was always so positive and loved life.....I will remember how he praised our little family and got on Frank about staying healthy. I will always remember how he drank chocolate milk when he was training :-) My sympathy goes out to your entire family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. We will never forget you Jim. God bless

I will miss him so much. Jim and I met at Cabelas and wouldn't stop talking to each other about fishing. We spent a couple nights a year fishing on Lake WI together till sunrise and caught a lot of big walleye. Jim would call me once a week to check on if I was catching any fish and how my girlfriend was doing. Jim will be missed and I will think about him every time I catch a big walleye or when I am fishing on Lake WI. I am truly sorry for your loss. Nolan Koepp

I enjoyed Jim's friendship tremendously, and I miss him dearly. He was a kind, loyal, hard working, compassionate man. His enthusiastic, upbeat, positive presence always pervaded the atmosphere whenever we met. It was a pleasure to go fishing with him in Lodi where he taught me how to fish for walleyes. We always enjoyed talking about football and discussing how to grow his business whenever we were together. He loved his children greatly......you had a Great Dad....and I had a Great Friend.

So sorry to her about Jim. I didn't know him well, but I did know him--mainly through the body building world. He always had a smile on his face and a friendly manner. I was always amazed at his continual dedication to body building. He was probably gearing up to do Ford's show in the Spring. So sorry! Joanne Bender

Hello - Jim Tabor and I were fishing buddies of Jim's and spent a lot of nights down at Okee with him. Jim was a special friend to both of us. When we fished, Jim always made sure we had the best spots and we never had to worry about our lines tangling or losing baits. Jim took care of it. He caught some huge walleyes and muskie. I had the privilege of mounting some of them for him and sharing the stories about each catch. We will miss him. So sorry for your loss. Scott Hill and Jim Tabor
